OUR COMMANDEMENTS

1

One must identify the issues within the human psyche.

Humanity’s technological and scientific progress is a mere distraction, blinding us from the lack of change in morality and ideology. We are masters of the universe with savage, primal minds. The human blueprint is still connected to old instincts of fear, violence, and overall dominance, embedded in entertainment and politics alike.

2

One must escape the dilemma of survival

In the beginning of time, survival was the only option and solution. It was all humans considered. The evolution of the species allowed us to break free from the animal instinct: eat or be eaten. However, new chains were forged. Now we fight for survival within systems of our own making. Capitalism, being accomplished and earning for a living are just man-made prisons of survival, once again.

3

One must know that the mentioned design failures are the reasons a dystopia can flourish easily

If we keep going down the same path, we will never achieve the pluriversal utopic dream. In order to advance as a society, we have to identify and extract the disease from within to finally heal. The code can never work if there is an error amidst it.

4

One must understand design is ontological

Design is not just function or beauty. Whether it’s intended or not, it always has subliminal messages, it is never innocent. Every design decision carries the burden of the badly designed human

5

One must not imagine the world as one-size-fits-all.

In real justice comes many ways of thinking and being. Ask yourself "Am I imposing my view of the problem?" Accept that there is no universal solution to support the coexistence of diverse systems, stories, and solutions.

6

One must recognize that true progress does not lie in innovation, but in reimagining how we live, relate, and design.

We must shift from designing for mastery to designing for total coexistence, where progress means healing relationships: with the self, the other, the earth.

7

One must stop pretending design can fix everything.

Let us ask ourselves: Is design the way to control the world or to understand it? Not everything needs to or can be fixed. Let go of the savior complex and realize good design isn’t always about fixing. Sometimes it’s about stepping back, creating space for other voices or simply about supporting a process.

8

One must opt for symbiotic relationships

We should embrace symbiosis, be it with humans, animals or nature. It’s crucial to prioritize mutual aid instead of competing for resources when we are capable of assembling a fair cooperative system for every individual. This ideology promotes a universal and democratic design experience.

9

Hereby, one must nurture empathy to achieve the pluriversal utopia

Whenever you design, make sure it’s sole purpose isn’t monetary gain. Designing is also about feeding hearts and souls.

10

One needn't fear the loss of self in the pluriverse as for true individuality thrives in relation, not isolation.

Remember that designing for many does not mean your own view is erased but is co-existent. The pluriverse needs you, not as a copy but as a piece of a bigger puzzle.
